Mamou

Haven't been in the mood to blog lately. So sorry! I'll try posting stuff at least once a week again!

My blockmate, Chuchu has been telling me how good the food is in Mamou so I knew I had to give it a try! Her descriptions always made me hungry which is totally depressing since it's all the way in the south. Luckily, there was this one time that classes were suspended and we instantly decided to have lunch there.

I really find this photo super cute! The old man looks so happy! Accidentally took his picture... I was trying to take photos of the interior of the restaurant.

I like the aura of the restaurant. It makes me feel like I'm in another country.

Bread and butter

Lamb Tapa PHP 395.00
If you want a twist to the classical Filipino dish, this is something you should try! You can also pick brown rice over the normal one if you're trying to make yourself feel better about indulging on this.

 Lorenzo's Truffle Cream PHP 375.00
This you gotta try! I'm not really a fan of cream-based pasta but this is just divine. I'm not exaggerating.

I gotta admit, it's kinda pricey to eat here but it'll be worth it.
I also love how their waiters and waitresses were so accommodating and how they would always smile at us. Instant good vibes. ahaha

Care

Since it’s currently raining hard outside, I suddenly remembered something that I should’ve posted! Remember last month(or was it two months ago) when we were hit by the typhoon that left a lot of damages in our country? Well, for days I was in the comfort of my own home doing nothing. I felt really bad for not being able to help out! It was impossible for me to go anywhere because of the flood. Luckily when the weather was a bit better I got to meet up with my friends and we were able to repack some goods!

Aimee and I lining up! I was surprised to see so much people in the supermarket! I'm sure most of them had the same agenda as we did.

(Left to right: Therese, Rhean, Bi-ang, Me, Aimee)

Chill clothes for that day!

Before going to the grocery and doing relief operations my friends and I went out to grab something to eat! Lunch dates with friends are always fun and they're even better if you have great tasting food on the table! Here's my favorite Italian restaurant in the metro, Cibo!

So sorry for the low quality photos, the lighting in the restaurant wasn't cooperating with me.

 Patatine Fritte PHP 110

I'm sure you're thinking why get chips in Cibo?? What makes their chips really unique is their dip! It's like mayonnaise mixed garlic and different kinds of spices!

 Menta PHP 88
Mint iced tea! Super refreshing!!

Costolette D'Agnello PHP 420
Grilled lamb chop!! This. is. a. must. try. That's super annoying but then it puts more emphasis on what I have to say, haha

Filetto di Pesce PHP 383
My favorite!!! Can't go to cibo without having this!

Panna Cotta PHP 155
"Always leave room for dessert"
Of course, I did! My cravings for anything sweet is endless.

What a heavy blog post! Here's something I recently discovered in my itunes library while it was on shuffle! Somehow it has a connection with the first part of my blog, hmm. Destiny
